Finally saw The Da Vinci Code last night. You know, as debates flew between conservative and non-concservative Christians I have been on the less conservative side for the movie. My attitude has been that it's a fictional piece of work and should be viewed as such.

It's a decent movie. Not half as boring as I'd been told. But... If someone made a movie about the history of any other religion... Budism, Islam, Krishna, etc. and misrepresented that history so blatantly and incorrectly, even in the guies of fiction, you can bet the world would be up in arms.

Only when we stand before God in judgement will the true worth of our deeds be known. But, as for me, I was saddened to think of how many people will believe the "facts" presented in this movie.
